May: the month of winelovers

A Tuscany and Chianti travel blog must talk about wine.
In fact this month we would like to talk you about a national event about wine, really important for us in Chianti to let people learn more about Chianti wines.

Every year Cantine Aperte opens the doors of big and small wineries and cellars, where you should go and taste Chianti wines, produced by Chianti winemakers. 
You could learn everything about the production process behind this great product, wellknown worldwide.
Cantine Aperte 2016 will be on May 28th and 29th (Saturday and Sunday).
During this event you can book your visit in wineries, visit vineyards with the winemakers, learn history and secrets about this wine.
The Movimento Turismo del Vino is an association to promote and publicize the culture of Chianti wine and to support its diffusion and discovery.

Last but not least we would like to tell you about another event, very interesting for people staying near us: la Mostra del Chianti (Chianti exhibition) in Montespertoli.
The main characters of this event are the local winemakers and Chianti wines.
During the week between May 28th and June 5ft, there will be many cultural and artistic events linked to this festival of the Chianti.

May is truly the month of wine lovers!
